Who lives, who dies?

If bioethicists like Peter Singer get on a national healthcare commission to determine which healthcare products and services a patient gets based on quality of life, beware. According to the professor at Princeton, parents should have three days after the birth of their child to determine whether the baby should be allowed to live. This is jumping from full term abortion to infanticide, what is next involuntary euthanasia at six months, a year, two years, when does Professor Singer a human being becomes a person? He really does not say. These are the type of people that Sarah Palin is trying to warn about because on Page 30 of the House proposed healthcare bill, it talks about precisely this commission deciding what measures will be used to determine which services and products for healthcare will be provided based on a QALYS, quality assessment of life, and Peter Singer himself said in the New York Times magazine last Sunday, that one teenager's life is worth fourteen 85 year olds. Do you feel your Mom or Dad is safe in the hands of a Hegelian bioethicist like this, well Ezekiel Emmanuel, brother of Rahm Emmanuel, Obama's White House Chief of Staff is mighty cozy with people like Peter Singer and is advising the healthcare taskforce.
Yes, there is cause for worry, make yourselves educated about the House bill talk to your senators and representatives, find out what is making seniors very angry, their fears are justified, because it is not at all settled in this healthcare bill, the value of an 85 or 75 or 65 year old for that matter. So what is the rush, the devil is always in the details, let's hear more of the details, no more rushed through major bills such as the stimulus, and now healthcare, this is insane, and some people have good intentions that will lead to evil consequences for the frail(elderly and newly born).
